“ Called in for mid week lunch - nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but they were a little overloaded and this affected the experience. Only one person at the bar to take orders, serve drinks, and process payments and there was a constant queue of patrons waiting to be served. Meals were slow to come out, and with cutlery and napkins forgotten it was back inside to track these down. Another staff member or two would help spread the load and things to run a little faster. The lady behind the bar (bar manager?) did a great job keeping the wheels of the restaurant turning ”
“ Absolutely fantastic meal at Brouhaha. Their Sourced Dining menu was delicious and fantastic value for a 3-course, 6 dish dinner. The way they feature fresh, seasonal produce is excellent and the menu is always filled with local producers from the region. Highly recommend… and the beer is great too! ”
“ tl, dr.: a very decent gastropub One of the standouts of after dark dining in Maleny is Brouhaha, which serves fairly traditional (maybe a little bit unimaginative, but I guess this is what sells) and very well done pub food with a twist. This is the second or third time I've been here, and have never been disappointed. The star attraction, of course, is their brews. They carry other local craft brews as well as their own constantly changing beers, which makes each trip an adventure. There are permanent ones, though, like their milk stout; I'm not a stout drinker, but I absolutely love Brouhaha's milk stout, which is great for both drinking and cooking! Top tip: if you're capable, try making it into ice cream. I love that they offer paddles so that you're able to try all the beers on tap, and they also offer cans, as well as growlers to takeaway. There's been an explosion of craft brews in SEQ over the last 10 years, and Brouhaha is definitely one of the better ones. ”
“ I’m from Argentina and since I came to Australia I didn’t find good beers. The IPA from this place is absolutely awesome. The food is delicious. I really recommend! ”
“ Called in just for a beer or two they were really great! They have a good range of craft beers. Didn't try any food this time, but what was brought out to other patrons looked really delicious so will return again to eat next time! ”
“ The staff are fabulous! Really attentive and the chefs are amazing. We ordered a starter and mains and it doesn't happen very often anymore, but our mains came about 15 minutes after we had finished our starters, which was fantastic and meant we could just sit and enjoy the beers without feeling like we had to be in and out. Food was beautiful. We will definitely be back! ”
“ Loved the beer battered barramundi and the gluten free gnocchi with ricotta — both delicious! Service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. ”
“ Food was beautiful. Couldn’t fault although maybe a little pricy for the size Atmosphere is great. Relaxed and comfy ”
